Description: This news brief focuses on how to communicate our feelings about supporting children and their programs. We can go about making children's issues compelling by understanding what happens between our communication materials and the one person is is reading or listening. Focusing on one on one communication invites the communicator to consider how we meet the needs of the one person whom our communication is trying to reach. We propose three hypotheses about the fundamental needs of our audience and the question that each hypothesis poses for the communicator.
