In order to help understand the implications of this media, the Kaiser Family Foundation conducted a national study of more than 1,000 parents of children ages six months through six years. The study found that Children six and under spend an average of two hours a day using screen media, about the same amount of time they spend playing outside, and well over the amount they spend reading or being read to.
